Noah: Hearing Test

Thursday, 12 June 2003 2:34 A GMT-12
10/10 on the hearing test, and his full medical went very well. He's a healthy boy, even giggled through the checks most babies cry at!

Noah: 8 month checkup

Wednesday, 14 May 2003 3:42 A GMT-12

He's fine, but the bad news is the health visitor says he's going to be a short-arse!

he weighs 20lb 10oz, 68 cm long and his head is normally proportioned. Glad to hear that.

He can pick things up, bang them together, say Da Da Da and standup holding the sofa!

Growing nicely, his hearing test is next.

Cormac: Potty training

Tuesday, 29 April 2003 10:33 A GMT-12

Oh joy, that time has come, any help or advice is welcomed before all his teeth drop out from all the chocolate we bribe him with :)

He's 2years 5 months tomorrow!

Noah: 3 teeth

Tuesday, 29 April 2003 10:32 A GMT-12

He's eight months tomorrow. Its been a while since this was updated, but thats not to say the kids have stopped growing.

Noah has three teeth, and he's on the brink of moving around. He's doing that "roll around the floor" thing. If you hold his hands and stand him up he also tries to put one foot in front of another. A good wee lad, he sits up perfectly now too, doesnt wobble anymore :)

Noah: First tooth

Monday, 17 February 2003 1:41 A GMT-12

He cut his first tooth yesterday! Momentus baby moment. He also is playing more. If you pat his lips 'cowboy/indian' style, he lets out a long noise for the 'wah wah' effect, and giggles.

He's also sitting up by himself - falls down after a while, but its all going well.

Cormac: A Boy of few words

Wednesday, 15 January 2003 11:59 A GMT-12

He's a boy with only a couple of hundred words in his vocab.

I had a conversation with him today in two word sentences..

C:Want one? (he meant a sweet)

yup

C:more?

he even brought me the last sweetie chewed in half (half for me and half for him)

He has his cheeky moments, but they come with a look mostly, and the word "no" but it reminded me of the cheekiest/funniest thing to come from a child that I've heard in a while, and I've yet to hear anything to top it in the last three years.

My nephew Joe (aged 4 at the time) was in the garden with his new bike, and he was using a airbed pump to try to pump up the tyre. My dad (his grandad) said "Joe that wont work, you need a bike pump" to which he replied very adult like "You needed bother talking me out of it grandad, I'm going to try it anyway!"

I dont think I stopped laughing for a few hours.
